# Activity in user stories is not updated when drag and drop in Kanban

When I click the status buttons in user stories to change status, the activity is updated normally. However, the activity is not updated if I drag and drop the card in Kanban directly.

Can anyone help me?

I’m facing the same issue. Has this been resolved?  
I’ll add some screenshot to explain better.

meanwhile if we drag and drop the card on the kanban board. The activity log is not triggered / updated.

Hi there,

In case you are using [https://tree.taiga.io](https://tree.taiga.io), it should update after some time has passed. The reason being that when you update through drag and drop, it triggers an asynchronous update mechanism.

There are some edge cases, like when the update does not appear yet but users are still continuously changing the status, where it may not appear.

If you are using a self-hosted instance, please verify that your RabbitMQ containers and your backend containers are not throwing any errors.
