I’m looking for a way to add an attribute that is available for all projects.
What are the options to do this?

We are self hosting.

Cheers

Keith

Hi Keith!

The easiest way is to have a base project with the required attributes, config, etc and then create others using that as a base. The “Duplicate project” when creating a new project option is precisely for that. It does not duplicate the content, it duplicates the configuration (attributes, custom fields, activated modules, etc).

You can also create a new project template, either from the database, the API, or by modifying the fixture that imports project templates to create a third project template beyond Scrum and Kanban (or even modyfying those). The templates have all the information for what modules are active, what custom fields are present, etc.

I hope this helps!

Best!
