# Error when inviting a new user

I am currently trialling Tiaga. I invited a user that I work with and when he followed the link he was greeted with a page which asked him to either login or register. As he has no password he decided to register. He completed the first box with his company email address, the second with his name, the third with his email address and the fourth with the password he wished to use.

When he clicked the sign up button. The system threw an error highlighting the first box in red with red highlighted text below stating “This value seems to be invalid.”

No clues were given as to why it invalid. Does anyone have any idea?

Hi there!

Yes, an email is not a valid username. He should try with letters, numbers, and “-\_+.” characters only.
