Issue with lingering attachment notifications after deleting a Wiki page

Hello Taiga Community,

I’ve encountered an issue that I hope someone might be able to assist with. After deleting a specific Wiki page, I still see notifications on my project page indicating “user has uploaded a new attachment” related to that page. This is confusing and misleading as the Wiki page itself has already been deleted.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is there a workaround or fix? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hi @Luk5553 and welcome to the community space.

Just to double-check - is it possible that you have deleted the bookmark, but the page still exists?

Please note that wiki systems preserves all pages by default. Therefore, it’s possible that the page still exists despite the absence of the bookmark.

In Taiga Bookmars sidebar, you can create direct links to wiki pages. So even though your bookmark might be removed, the page could still be around somewhere. You can verify whether the page still exists by checking the ‘All Wiki Pages’ option located at the bottom of the bookmarks section.

Additionally, when you need to remove a page, simply locate the garbage bin icon found at the footer of every page. Note that this will delete the page, but not the bookmark, which will now link to a new empty page with the same name.

We know this can be confusing, and we will completely change how this part works in the next Taiga. Our goal is to simplify the user experience as much as possible.

I hope I’ve helped you for now.
