Self hosting documentation

Hello

I just heard abot this app.
I see it’s 11 years old.

And in those 11 years you guys didn’t think this link community.taiga.io/t/taiga-30min-setup/170 deservers it’s own Card like the other links?

You believe if you do this you will lose money because everyone will see the large link in Heading 2 size?.. So you tucked it away, why didn’t you just remove it and just put it on the GitHub page like other FOSS apps do?

The Card on the left link just links to the same page where the Card is located anyway, so it’s purposless.

I don’t wish you any bad luck or anything like that, I wish you prosperity and money, I’m just pointing out the weirdness.

Also whose premises? On your premises or on mine? This card really doesn’t have a function, give it to the self hosting Link.

You don’t actually have five things on your Menu.

This is your Meny.

1.) Taiga Cloud
2.) Tiga Cloud Basic (no support)
3.) Taiga Support. ( Self hosted and managed by us ) Or I don’t actually know at which location this is managed at, my location or your location. Logically your Cloud option is managed by you and hosted by you so this option should be self hosted?
4.) Taiga Self hosted

You don’t need to write ‘premium’ support because you don’t have basic medium premium support plans. You only have support or no support. Some plans include support and some don’t, and one plan is only support but you call it Managed for you ( Managed by us) of course it’s for me, it’s not for the guy on the street, and then you use a phrase self-managed to make more confusion.

That’s about it, I’m gonna go try the App now, the Marketing aspect of the Website could use work.

Hi there!

Thanks for your message, we had been playing around with our new landing page platform, and it seems some of it ended in production. Indeed, there are 4 products as of now. One of them was duplicated on the page and the button did not work, so thanks for pointing that out as well.

After reviewing, we took your advice into consideration. We fixed stuff to be how it was supposed to be, reordered things around to make the two options clearer (Cloud/SaaS and hosted on your servers), etc.

One point we do not agree though is the one about support. We do offer support, platform related mainly (can’t log in to your account, can’t access a project, etc.). Premium support is for things like changing a project slug.

All in all, thank you for pointing these issues out to us, we hope you like the current version better and enjoy Taiga!

Best regards!

     oh wow Respect! :) .
