Auto Saving of custom attributes

Hi ,
I have added 4-5 custom fields in story , facing issues

  1. Auto saving is not there or i am missing something ??
    So i want whenever user enter text in textfield it should be saved, instead of clicking on save button
  2. Whenever , I am updating custom attributes through api it is not getting refreshed automatically , need to manually refresh the webpage.

Can you help me here
