Story and Task Priority

Admittedly, I’m a noob with Taiga, Kanban and Agile. But is there a reason why I can’t assign a priority to Stories and Tasks? From a team triage standpoint, it seems like it would make sense to give users the ability to see what requires the most attention the most.

And I see that I can create custom fields and could create a priority dropdown with this feature. But it doesn’t seem like I can add that value to the cards on the Kanban view. Or am I overlooking that?

Lastly, I could create tags, but then I could create illogical situations like assigning both “high priority” and “low priority” to a story at the same time.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi there!

In Kanban, in theory, stuff closer to the top is higher priority. You can also have Swimlanes for different priorities, if you would like.

Since you are new to Agile, I’d recommend you take a look at this section of the community for tips, tricks, and explanations!
